In the first quarter of 2024, the top five Art and Design apps in Mexico demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here are the key insights based on Sensor Tower data.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor saw impressive performance in Q1 2024. Weekly revenue increased steadily, starting at approximately $94.7K in early January and peaking at around $150.7K in mid-March. Downloads also showed a strong upward trend, reaching a high of 230K in late February. Active users grew consistently, starting from 1.9M at the beginning of January and peaking at 2.8M in early March.

ibis Paint X had a more fluctuating performance. Weekly revenue hovered around $844 initially and saw minor fluctuations, ending at about $996. Downloads varied, starting at 97.9K in early January, dipping to 65.9K in early February, and recovering to 83.8K by the end of March. Active users showed a slight increase, beginning at 610K and ending the quarter at 644K.

AR Draw Sketch: Sketch & Trace experienced modest revenue, peaking at $5 in mid-March. Downloads were highest at the beginning of January with 35K and showed a mixed trend, ending at 18.3K. Active users grew from 94.4K in early January to peak at 163.8K in late February, before settling at 159.6K by the end of the quarter.
